There should be no journal faster than this. The manuscript was submitted on June 26, 2019, and the comments were returned on October 9, 2019. All five reviewers considered it’s very meaningful, and they all agreed to accept it, but some technical questions were raised, and it took us a few days to reply, but we didn’t notice that we were invited to submit a cover image when we responded the comments, but the cover needed to be uploaded together with the revision. So, we quickly drew the cover, and finally uploaded it before the deadline, October 23, 2019, it was directly accepted 4 hours after revision submitted. The draft was proofread in another 12 hours. This speed is really amazing, and it will finally be published online on October 25, 2019.

This journal is very fast, the fastest I have ever seen among journals in the environmental field. After the first submission, the comments came after 20 days. Three reviewers, requested minor revision, but one of the comments requested new experiments. The editor read the comments carefully. The editor said that because I need to add the experiment, and EST Lett did not have the category of minor revision, the decision gave to me was resubmit. After revising it, the paper was accepted after a review that lasted half a month.
