It entered the status of with editor on the third day after submission. During the period, it was delayed for a while due to the author’s email address. It took a week for revision and coordinating, after that, it was sent for review. It took 40 days for external review. There were 2 reviewers, all of them requested to make major revision. One of the reviewers gave nearly 40 comments. It was resubmitted after about 20 days of revision. The comments of the editor returned in 3 days, and minor revision was required. It was accepted in a day. The publication fee is 7,000 RMB. The comments of review experts were professional, which were helpful to the article. I personally disagreed with two comments. After a serious explanation, the review experts also recognized my opinion. In short, my reply document for major revision was about 10,000 words. Careful revision can improve the acceptance rate of the article. I wish you all fruitful research.

In general, this journal is very formal. The submission page is relatively friendly, which is different from ordinary journals. It was rejected by several other journals before this submission. It stated in the guidelines that the requirements for science are greater than innovation. So I submitted the manuscript with the attitude of trying. However, it was not as fast as it was advertised on its homepage: It took 28 years for the first review. Actually, the result of first review was given to me in almost 2 months. During the period, I emailed and urged it, and the editor responded with a good attitude. It was true that there were many requirements for the format for each revision, otherwise it would be refused. There was one thing worth noting about the format: Don’t use red and green in the images of the article. The journal considers that people with red-green color blindness cannot read it.

First, this journal has a relatively unique publishing model: one-time payment, life-long publishing. Second, the review is fast, one month on average. In my case it was 40 days, but the editor wrote a letter to me on the 30th day, saying sorry the review time is too long. Third, which I think is the best point, is that all manuscript processing is open. The reviewer's comments, the contributor's responses, and the editor's decision letter are all open. The journal's IF is 2.1 this year. It is expected to be around 3 next year. The current acceptance rate is still relatively high. If you don’t know where to submit, consider this one.
