Review speed: 3.0 | Submission hit rate: 50.0 Experience sharing: When the magazine was first launched, the boss received an invitation and therefore submitted my article on nanotoxicology here in early May 2013. It was rejected in mid-July with a lot of comments from two reviewers. However, upon closer inspection, some of the comments were quite constructive, while others seemed to be nitpicking. Later, I met an editor of the magazine who said that although the article had sufficient data, this journal required detailed analysis data on the nanomaterial for articles on nanotoxicity, whereas our article mainly focused on biological effects. The magazine, co-sponsored by the Chinese Society of Toxicology and the British Society of Toxicology, is published under the RSC and is a promising magazine. Moreover, color illustrations are free and there are no publication fees. There are many articles by Chinese authors in the magazine. With sufficient data and some novelty, it may be worth considering submitting an article. Of course, one must carefully read the article requirements and ensure that the necessary data is not lacking
