The speed was very fast, and it was relatively efficient. It took nearly three months from submission to acceptance. What made me upset was that, soon after I submitted the article, the impact factor (of this journal) dropped from 2.2 to 1.8. It is a journal in Q2, but its impact factor isn’t over 2, which is a bit unacceptable.

This is my first time to submit to an SCI journal. I submitted on February 1 and got the review comments on March 24. There were two reviewers, one of whom mainly criticized the format. The other one mainly pointed out problems in data analysis. I then modified the format, and my foreign advisor helped me to answer the questions about data analysis. The journal gave me a deadline till September Even though the questions can be answered in one week. Submitted the revision on May 5 and got accepted on May 15.
