Almost all freely submitted manuscripts that reach the required academic level for publication after review need to be returned to the authors for revisions in their wording and formatting before being published. This may include shortening the length of the article, redesigning tables, improving the quality of illustrations, and limiting the use of irregular abbreviations. However, manuscripts returned to authors for revisions do not mean that the article has been accepted. Whether the article is ultimately accepted depends on whether the author's modifications to the key content and wording of the article meet the requirements of the reviewers and editors. 

The materials usually returned to the author for revisions include the original manuscript, reviewers' comments, and a covering letter from the editor. Upon receiving the revised manuscript, the author should carefully read the covering letter and reviewers' comments. They should then consider whether they can or are willing to accept the opinions of the reviewers or editors and make modifications to the manuscript. The likelihood of the article being accepted can be seen from the responses from the editor and the reviewers to the revisions. 

Do not rush through the revisions, but instead read and understand the reviewers' questions repeatedly. Respond to each of the reviewers' comments individually (response to reviewer 1, 2, 3); clearly indicate the specific changes made in the revised manuscript (page, lines); write a letter to the editor thanking them for their suggestions for modifications to the manuscript, and indicate the modifications made based on their suggestions, with reasons for any areas not modified
