This journal has a long review period, really super long. The journal is not responsible at all. Our paper was submitted at the end of October 2016, and the comments only came back after over two months, with only three questions. After our revision, the second round of review again took more than two months and then our paper was rejected. The reviewer wasn’t doing a good job , and the journal is super inefficient. People who know someone there will have their papers processed fast, but if you don’t know anyone, it will be at least one year before your paper can be accepted.

I submitted an article to this magazine in 2020, and the experience was not pleasant. Prior to this, I had already published seven SCI papers, three of which were published in top-tier journals in the second zone of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The language of my papers had never been questioned by reviewers. However, when I submitted to this journal, the editor in the first review required language polishing and even demanded a language polishing certificate. The opinions of the two reviewers in the first review were not bad. As a result, I had the language polished by a reputable institution. In the second review, three new reviewers were assigned, and surprisingly, one of them found the polished language unsatisfactory. This reviewer's opinion was very negative, leading to the rejection of my article. I can only say that this journal does not lack submissions, has a small acceptance rate, and sets a high threshold. However, for authors, it is indeed a very distressing experience. Since then, I have never submitted to this journal again.
