The article review process is relatively fast, similar to what is stated on the Elsevier official website, which is about 6.4 weeks. However, the acceptance rate is not high compared to the proportion of submissions from Chinese scholars. As a journal of the American Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the review process is quite strict. My article went through three rounds of major revisions before being accepted, but perseverance paid off in the end.
