Your experience is similar to mine, bro. I submitted an article in August and waited until February 10th without any response. Unable to wait any longer, I sent a reminder email, and five days later received a reply from the associate editor apologizing for the delay due to difficulties in the review process. Ten days later, I received the review result with major revisions required, and the AE apologized again in the email. It seems they encountered some procedural issues. Maybe you should remind them again.
