As long as we can secure SCI indexed journals, it will be fine. If the school adopts CiteScore for calculations in the future, there will be nothing to worry about. On one hand, CiteScore includes a wider range of journals, so this journal will definitely be included. Additionally, it benefits smaller journals, so the differences among them will not be as significant. I hope the school adopts CiteScore

The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan (PSJ) has decided to undertake a reorganization of its 4 journals (Yakugaku Zasshi (currently publishing Japanese and English papers), Chemical and Pharmaceutical Bulletin (CPB), Biological and Pharmaceutical Bulletin (BPB), and Journal of Health Sciences (JHS)), with the aim of publishing world class, high quality scientific journals that deal with papers from all fields related to “drugs”. As a result of this reorganization, Yakugaku Zasshi will become a solely Japanese language journal after January 1, 2012. English language manuscripts must be submitted on or before July 31, 2011 if the authors wish to have their paper published in Yakugaku Zasshi. English manuscripts submitted on August 1, 2011 or later will be considered for publication in either CPB or BPB. We look forward to receiving your manuscripts and thank you for your understanding during this period of reorganization. ATTENTION -If the English language paper submitted to Yakugaku Zasshi is accepted later than September 20, 2011, paper type and publication journal are subject to change from Yakugaku Zasshi to CPB or BPB
