As long as we can keep the SCI source journals, it's fine. If the school starts using CiteScore for calculations, there's nothing to worry about. On one hand, CiteScore includes a wider range of journals, so this journal is definitely included. Additionally, it benefits smaller journals, so everyone's differences won't be so significant. I hope the school adopts CiteScore

After submission without revision, it was accepted in August 2015, online in March 2016, and only searchable on PubMed in January 2017 (ahead of print). This journal does not charge for publication if there are no color illustrations. It is incredibly slow! Editors generally do not reply to emails

I submitted my paper in March, but still haven't heard anything by June. I wrote to inquire and was told they never received it. I resubmitted and on June 14th the editor requested changes to the reference format, and also provided an article number and thank you note. The paper was accepted on August 25th, with no mention of payment

Submitted two case reports, but haven't heard back for a month and a half. Sent an email inquiring about it, and the editor replied saying they didn't receive it. Resubmitted, and a few days later received a response with an article number and a thank you note. Still no response for the other one after a month, so emailed again to inquire. Finally got a response after a week, asking to remove the brackets from the references. Another week later, got the article number and a thank you note for the second article. It seems like this journal will never respond without reminders. Email submissions are much easier than online submissions. Just not sure if it will be included in SCI
