August 1 of each year is the deadline for submission to the TRB (Transportation Research Board) meeting. The results of the first review are announced in mid-October. About 30% of the articles will be either directly recommended to TRB’s journal, TRR, or recommended to TRR after a second reviewed. November 15 is the date of submission of the revised papers. Generally, the TRB meeting is held in January of the following year, and the final review results are announced on March 15. About 25% of the articles will be accepted.

Submitted to TRR on 18th September 2024, after more than twenty days of manuscript submission, entered the review process.

Received first-round comments on 26th November 2024, with two professional reviewers providing many professional opinions that greatly improved the article. Six weeks were given for revisions.

Article accepted on 5th February 2025.

Overall, the process was relatively smooth. The submission difficulty was not high, but the reviewers were very professional. After making modifications according to the reviewers' comments, the article became much clearer.
