The requirements of this journal were not low. After the second review, it was accepted. It was not slow in the review process. It took time to supplement part of author’s information. In the first review, a major revision and a minor revision were required, and the questions were to the point. In the second review, there were a minor revision and an acceptance. The editor accepted the article directly after modifying language. July 23th, submission; August 30th, returned the revision; September 20th revision again; September 23th, acceptance. The publication fee is getting more and more expensive.

2018.12.15 submission; 3 editors were contacted during the period, which made me a little anxious; 2019.03.06, after almost three months, I could not wait to ask for the progress of the review process, and the third day the editor replied that it had been sent for review and awaiting reviewer's reply; 2019.03.22 The reviewer’s comments returned. One required minor revision, which mentioned some language issues and asked questions about the frequency response range of the one-way valve, which was easy to answer. Another required major revision, where the questions were relatively comprehensive. They asked me to explain the optimization goal of the manuscript, and suggested extending the range of the optimization object and adding experimental verification. Although the question is meaningful, it is not very specified. It took a week to answer the question and supplement the experimental verification till returning a revised manuscript on 2019.03.28; Reviewers returned their opinions again on 2019.04.15, saying that they were quite satisfied with the modification of the manuscript, and suggested to accept it, and it was acceptd on the same day. It took a total of 4 months, but the page fee is much expensive, costing 2050 dollars. This is my second article published in a SCI journal during the postgraduate period. Come on!

This is an open source journal. My research is on the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of mechanical equipment. The research concerns weak signal detection based on vibration resonance. A research paper was submitted on November 28, 2016. After three and a half months of submission, I saw that the review comments were delayed, I write a reminder letter to the journal. After the reminder letter, the editor replied the next day. It is a very authoritative process, which means that the review cycle may be longer than the average. On May 8, 2017, the first round of reviews was returned, a total of four reviewers, two asked for an overhaul, and two for minor revisions.  The editor asked me to submit a reply letter and review comments by May 24, which I did. On June 5, the second set of reviews came back asking for one minor repair, which they gave me half a month to complete. I amended the manuscript on June 24.The article was accepted on July 10.

Submitted on December 5th, 21. Received a notice for major repairs in February of 22. Hired in April. Writing this review mainly because today I saw that the warning has been removed, which made me very happy. I had been feeling down for a long time because of the warning.
