Reviewed 2020-08-05 13:59:08 I do research in high energy density physics. The impact factor of PPCF briefly went up to 7 in 2017, and it has gradually dropped to around 2.8 in the past two years. It can be regarded as a very good Q2 journal in high energy density physics field. The review speed of this journal needs to be improved, and I hope that it can get better and better in the future. Reviewed 2012-03-01 14:40:00 This is one of the top journals in controlled nuclear fusion (high temperature plasma); the influence factor is 2.466 (2011).The review speed is generally high. My article was submitted at the end of September 2009, and the review comments were received in early December.
