Reviewed 2021-12-30 18:00:31 Almost all the manuscripts that meet the academic standards for publication need to be returned to the authors for modifications to their presentation and formatting before publication, such as compressing the length of the article, redesigning tables, improving the quality of illustrations, and limiting the use of irregular abbreviations. However, returning a manuscript to the authors for modifications does not mean that the article has been accepted. The final acceptance of the article depends on whether the author's modifications to the critical content and presentation style meet the requirements of the reviewers and editors. Materials typically returned to authors for modifications include the original manuscript, reviewers' comments, and a covering letter from the editor. When authors receive the modified manuscript, they should first carefully read the modification letter and the reviewers' comments. Then they should consider whether they can or are willing to accept the opinions of the reviewers or editors and modify the manuscript. The likelihood of acceptance of the article can be determined from the responses of the editor and the reviewers to the revised manuscript. Do not rush the revision process, reread and understand the reviewers' comments.
