Received the email of tentative acceptance today. It took a little over a year in total, going through four rounds of review. At first, there were two reviewers, one positive and one negative. The negative reviewer was particularly harsh and rejected our submission outright. After appealing, we found three additional reviewers, making a total of five reviewers - three positive and two negative. We conducted experiments based on the reviewers' suggestions and successfully convinced the fourth reviewer, although they had some minor comments.
