But when the epidemic suddenly came, I could only apply to the editorial office for an extension of one month. Later, I continued to modify the article at home and sent the data to a professional organization for supplementation. The epidemic continued to deteriorate and the deadline was extended for another month. 2020.04.12 I finally completed the revision, and returned the revised manuscript at night. 2020.04.22 Acceptance. 2020.04.26 publication online. It took nearly 4 months, including the 2 months that I extended in the middle. It could have been done within 2 months. There was no way for the epidemic. Fortunately, the result is good. This journal has very high requirements for the field of medical materials, attaching great importance to the characterization of materials and cell biology test data.

It was said that the review is slow from the comments, and I hesitated when I submitted. After submission, I found it was really fast. It took less than two months from submission to acceptance although it was during the epidemic period. The second review took only one day. After the weekend, it was accepted on Monday morning. It was submitted in April 2018. The first review was very slow, which stayed in the hands of the editor for 3–4 months. However, considering that the article was not in a hurry, it was put away in there. During the period, I sent two or three letters to urge the journal, but still no response. After that, the review began, and the first review comments were given by the end of December. After revised submission one month later, it was returned for minor revision again and then accepted two weeks after resubmission, which lasted 1 year in total. Generally speaking, this journal was very grinding, and the people who can wait may submit. If the article is anxious to be published, try not to consider it.

My experience was a major revision once and a minor revision once. Within one month after the first submission, the review comments were returned by the three reviewers. One reviewer suggested major revision. The second reviewer said that a bunch of revisions were required and the English level was not suitable.

The review took 8 months, delaying until the journal was renamed. The editor sent an email saying it wouldn't affect the impact factor, but it's clearly a scam. The new journal name is not listed in JCR and cannot generate a citation report. I will never cite this journal again, they are frauds!!!
