Almost all freely submitted manuscripts with academic standards meeting the publication requirements need to be returned to the authors for revision before publication, such as compressing the length of the manuscript, redesigning tables, improving the quality of illustrations, and limiting the use of irregular abbreviations. However, manuscripts returned to the authors for revision does not mean that the article has been accepted. Whether the article is finally accepted depends on whether the author's modification of the key content and writing style meets the requirements of the reviewers and editors. 

Materials usually returned to the authors for modification include the original manuscript, reviewers' comments, and a cover letter from the editor. Upon receiving the revised manuscript, the author should first carefully read the modification letter and the reviewers' comments. Then, consider whether or not they can or are willing to accept the suggestions from the reviewers or the editor and make the necessary modifications. The likelihood of acceptance can be seen from the editor's response and the reviewers' feedback. Do not rush the revisions, read and understand the reviewer's questions carefully. Answer each suggestion from the reviewers one by one; clearly indicate the specific modifications made in the revised manuscript (page, lines); write back to the editor, thanking them for the suggestions and explaining the reasons for not making certain modifications
