Reviewed for a month, and then the editor's suggestion was to revise it as a letter and have it reviewed again. They didn't even provide the reviewers' comments and just asked us to change the format. A letter cannot exceed 600 words, how can we demonstrate the completeness of our experiment? It feels like this journal is very unprofessional. At the very least, they should give us the reviewers' comments! It seems like the editor has the final say on acceptance or rejection, solely for the purpose of improving the impact factor.
