Reviewed 2018-04-06 10:32:04 Even if it is not considered to be a top journal, I think JASA is second to none in the field of acoustics. As for my personal experience, I have never encountered a situation in which the review is very easy. Basically, there are more than three reviewers. The review period is about three months long. I am not a physics/acoustics professional, but much of my research is related to acoustic signal processing. From the perspective of signal processing, it is not very easy to get accepted, and it is still necessary to have a certain degree of innovation to be able to be published.
