JPCL has been a mainstay in the industry for the past two years and it seems to have more potential; it is still only a "small JACS" segment. The article we submitted was about s JACS. Although it is very interesting and completely qualified for publication, because it is the second part of the series and the editor of JACS  passed on publishing the first part of the previous article, this time it was not sent directly to publication.  The reviewing speed seems to slow since it is a well-known publication. From the time of submission to the receipt of opinion, it took 1 month, so it was not as fast as JCP and PCCP. After receiving acceptance, it was quickly published. I suspect that the editorial office must work on weekends to get this all accomplished.
