An established journal with a good reputation, the impact factor is not high, and the submission process is a bit tiring, but it is worth submitting! It took me three and a half months from submission to receiving the revised comments. Two weeks were given to return the manuscript. Revised within three days, accepted after one week. It took more than 4 and a half months in total. Following is the specific time: 2019.05.27 submission, 2019.09.15 received revision comments, 2019.09.18 submitted revised draft, 2019.09.23 received notification of acceptance, 2019.10.16 published online.

My research direction is amorphous materials, which are used as coatings. This is the first journal selected for the article. Let’s talk about the timeline, I think it’s pretty fast and smooth. The reviewers and editor were very responsible, and there were no delays for several months which appeared in other journals. 1. I submitted it on May 27 2019. 2. The revision comments were received on Jun 2 22 2019. Major revision was required in the system, but it was easy to revise, and two weeks for revision was given. Two reviewers made comments, and the editor made one suggestion that the general error problem in the article should be explained. This was simple; just analyze the inherent error of the instrument and the human error during operation. The other one was a reviewer, who gave 3 suggestions and it is not difficult to reply. The most important and what I want to emphasize was that the reviewer printed the manuscript and corrected my grammatical errors by hand. And then, the reviewer scanned it into digital paper and sent it to me, and asked me to revise the grammar carefully. This reviewer was super nice, and he revised many places in my article. So, I just needed to make corrections. Unlike some reviewers who commented that you are poor in English, and advised to use professional online polishing. 3. I submitted the revised manuscript on July 11 2019. 4. It was accepted on July 16 2019. Ha-ha, I am so happy. 5. It was online on August 9 2019. It's worth a submission!

My revised draft was submitted on December 14, I received the opinion on December 18, and it went online around January 4. This journal is one of the most professional journals; the IF is not very high, but the influence of the journal is still quite large.
