I researched into the fluid mechanics. In this field of the algorithm category, it is absolutely Number 1. Many famous algorithms are published in this journal. Those people who do algorithms are proud to publish a paper in this journal. The first article was submitted in March 2018. The three reviewers were very professional and gave dozens of comments, both large and small comments were in detail. After two rounds of revisions, which lasted for one year, it was accepted in February 2019. They greatly helped improving the quality of the paper. At present, I have submitted two more articles here and hope that there will be good results. I will have no regrets if I can publish three articles in this journal during my Ph.D.

Based on my own experience of submitting articles and the comments in the discussion section, I feel that choosing a reliable editor is very important. When submitting an article, you can choose which editor to assign it to in the system. It is not guaranteed that you will get the editor you choose, but in most cases, the editor you choose will handle your manuscript. Therefore, the speed of handling manuscripts can vary greatly, with the deadline for the first review being around one month. Some editors are more diligent in reminding, so they will send emails to remind you when the deadline is approaching, resulting in a faster review. Some editors are not very strict, so the reviewers do not mind if it takes a bit longer. It's all a matter of luck
