I initially submitted to npj Computational Materials, with one revise and resubmit and one rejection. The editor rejected the manuscript and suggested I submit to this major revision. One of the reviewers was not very cooperative, constantly asking me to cite his work. The other two reviewers raised very professional and detailed questions, even more than npj's opinions. The impression was very good! Although it was painful to make revisions, I could see that the journal had relatively high standards for the article. I submitted in August, revised in September, submitted the revised manuscript on October 15, made minor revisions to the image format in early November, and received acceptance on November 18.

Submitted on June 27, 2024, accepted for major revision on November 18th by three reviewers. It took over a month for revisions. This journal has high requirements for data and code integrity, with one reviewer specifically assigned to review them. The editorial processing speed is acceptable, but the reviewer selection process is slow. My supervisor said the chief editor is very competent, so this journal is likely to be good in the future.
