Journal of Applied Remote Sensing is indeed a quarterly journal, but the review speed is not as slow as it is said. Approximately 2 months it took for the first review and 1 month it took for the major revision. It took about 3–4 months from submission to acceptance. 2019.8.6 Submission. 2019.10.10 Review comments were given for the first review which requested major revisions. One month was given for the revision. I was delayed by something, so I applied for an extension of 15 days. 2019.11.18 Returned after revision. 2019.12.13 Accepted. Overall, it has a good efficiency, a good innovation and professional review comments.
