This is a journal with a narrow focus. After reviewing our manuscript, we submitted it on June 15th. After we were asked to provide two reviewer recommendations 9 months later, we found out that, after a month, this editor did not pay attention to our recommended reviewers at all. I’m honestly curious if the editor received any reviews within 12 months – it’s crazy if he/she didn’t. We finally received reviews, worked on them for 2-3 weeks, and then returned them to the editor. Our manuscript was accepted a week later at the end of June. Took over a year. And, the issues aren’t over yet. We know a different colleague who submitted to this journal who said that it will take a year and a half to see any reviews!!! WTF. Now I feel that I can't graduate on time.

Submitted in early September, the paper underwent review by two reviewers whose opinions were not consistent. Therefore, a third reviewer was consulted, resulting in a major revision. After 20 days of modification, the revised version was returned in December, and on January 4th, it was accepted for publication. The reviewers' comments were not particularly sharp, and all could be addressed through revisions. The editors were also very responsible, and the speed of the process was acceptable. I will consider submitting future ideas as well.

The reviewer reviewed it quickly, and the reviewer he found was a German author referenced in my literature. The only complaint is about the speed of the editorial department. They don't reply to emails, and I often need to send several before getting a response. Additionally, the proofreading process of this journal is really slow. It took two months from submitting the copyright to publication.

From submission to final acceptance, the process took 6 months:

- July 10, 2020: Submission
- July 13, 2020: Journal sent back the manuscript due to strict formatting requirements, asking for a resubmission after modifying the format.
- November 23, 2020: First review feedback received, requiring major revisions. Three reviewers provided comments, overall attitude was not harsh and suggested that revisions could lead to acceptance. The reviewers evaluated the manuscript in the following six aspects: Originality, Relationship to Literature, Methodology, Results, Implications for research, practice and/or society, and Quality of Communication.
- December 24, 2020: Revised manuscript submitted.
- January 18, 2021: Accepted, and notification to submit the copyright transfer agreement.
