I conducted a research on antiviral properties of crops and decided to try submitting to this journal. I received a quick response: I submitted on November 6, 2024, was informed on November 10 that the similarity rate was too high and needed to be reduced. After reducing it by half a month, I resubmitted and it went under review. The field may be niche, as it took a while to invite reviewers, and it wasn't until January 21, 2025 that I received two review comments, asking for revisions within 10 days. The reviewers were friendly, mainly focusing on enhancing the writing and content of the article. I submitted the revised manuscript on January 30, and it was accepted on February 3, 2025.
