I submitted the full text at the end of February 19, selected editor and experts, and then submitted all authors’ signature emails. We completed it very quickly, but the journal was dilatory, and the "Author Confirmation Form Completion submitted" was displayed until 07-Mar-2019. I urged the review. At first, I was very nervous, and I was afraid what I could do if it was directly rejected. However, I felt that the editorial office was still relatively polite and very nice. I was about to see how it was going in September. When it was not yet September, the review comments came back indeed. They let me change four short paragraphs, add an uncertainty analysis, and return within 30 days. Strive to finish this week! After "assigned to deputy editor" lasted for nearly 20 days, it was finally accepted! After anxious waiting, I continued to submit the copyright statement "Copyright Completion submitted". From February 28 to September 18, it took 10 days short of 7 months. I was tortured to death! It entered the "Awaiting Assignment to Batch" stage three days later! The proof was sent back on September 25! On October 22, I received an e-mail notification that they had prepared for publication online, and it could not be revised later, unless the publication of an erratum was sent!

A very good journal. It has been reviewed for a year and the editors and reviewers were very responsible. But for the assessment criteria, I would rather submit to this than other Q1 journals.

The impact factor of CJA is indeed high, but in terms of recognition within the aerospace industry, AIAA J is considered to be better. If one is not a scholar strongly related to this field, CJA's impact factor is indeed superior, and it is recommended to submit to CJA, as the review process is also faster.

I had the opportunity to submit to CJA once before, and both reviewers (with 6+1 opinions) were relatively satisfied, but for some reason, it was rejected after revisions.

Last year, I published an article which I personally believe is one of the top journals in the field of aerospace, second only to "Progress in Aerospace Science". However, the impact factor is not strong enough. This year, it fell to Q2 and was surpassed by AST and CJA. It was even surpassed by MDPI's "Aerospace". However, internationally, AIAA Journal is still more recognized. Recently, I submitted another article and hope it gets accepted.
