Then if your paper got accepted directly, you can submit to IEEE JSAC, IEEE TON, etc. If there is a direct acceptance, the level of the paper must be higher than this journal. My two articles got accepted by IEEE COMML this year, both of which underwent 4–5 reviewers. The comments were very professional and very helpful to the article. And I can feel that there was an expert in the field. I think this journal is not too easy to publish. The professors around me all recognize this journal.

10-Jul-2020, submitted; 06-Aug-2020, reject (resubmission allowed). There were 6 reviewers in total (it feels like I have won a prize) and about 30 comments. I revised 3 weeks and wrote more than 20 pages of reply; 03-Sep-2020, resubmitted; 21-Sep-2020, accepted. It is lucky to have an article accepted, it was really uneasy. I also reviewed articles in IEEE Communications Letters before. Two weeks were given for reviewers in each round. It took about three to four weeks to get the results; the efficiency is high. On the whole, the reviewers' comments are very helpful to the improvement of the article.

Two submissions. The first submission was directly rejected, not allowing for resubmission. It might be due to lack of experience and poor writing. On the other hand, the idea is really not stunning. The second one was submitted in January 2019, which was accepted after the resubmission. The current submission process is: as soon as you submit a manuscript, it will display awaiting admin processing; awaiting editor assignment; under review; awaiting reviewer assignment; under review. The first review generally takes 25 to 40 days. After all the reviews are finished, you can wait for AE to decide and the status is awaiting decision. The first review of the manuscript accepted was 30 days and accepted 22 days after the resubmission. My suggestion is to write the article as clear and easy to understand as possible, because of the article length is short as only 4 pages (5 pages now), and the reviewer is required to finish the review within one month. If the article is too obscure, the reviewers will be annoyed, especially for the reviewers who are not in the same direction. It is recommended that you should write the abstract and introduction clearly, such as application scenarios of the work or the reason why the work should be done, and then summarize the innovations of the article as concise and clear as possible.
