I received the notice of acceptance this morning, the result of the first review was raised in 40 days, and 20 days after revision, it was accepted. There were 2 reviewers in total. Since the email did not mention the option to resubmit after rejection, I thought it was a complete rejection and did not handle the manuscript. Later, I realized that the reviewers' comments were not difficult to address, so after more than 2 months, I decided to resubmit. This time, I submitted a new manuscript, but I was unsure whether to include a revision statement. I asked a fellow author who had been accepted on LetPub, and he advised against it (I was also a bit lazy), so I did not include a revision statement.
