Reviewed 2017-06-15 09:29:02 Traditionally, this is an important journal in the field and has published many classic papers. After 2000, because of issues in the layout and editing style, the impact factor has stayed around 4. In recent years, the journal has made great efforts to change the layout, which is now much better, but the impact factor has not risen much. Maybe because there are just too many journals, all competing for contributions. This journal seems to have a menbership-exclusive atmosphere.
