Review speed: 2.0 | Submission hit rate: 50.0 Experience sharing: 4.8 Submission 5.25 Interim Decision, one reviewer is quite nice, the other only focuses on one issue: heterologous ELISA, revised according to the reviewer's opinion, 20 days for revision; 2nd review 2 months; 8.11 Interim Decision the reviewer has no comments, but the associate editor is still fixated on heterologous ELISA, I provided a pile of articles to him, supplemented with other experiments; revised on 9.9; 10.1 Final Decision, rejection, after half a year of turmoil, the main reason is still heterologous ELISA, the associate editor doesn't seem very nice, some of the articles cited were published in gce and also used the same brand of ELISA, it's sad... If in a hurry, I don't recommend submitting to gce, even though I got one article accepted before, it doesn't feel great. I'll submit to other journals, wish me luck, everyone keep up the good work
