This journal is one of the three journals of the American AAPS. Compared with Pharm Res, it publishes a small number of articles each year, and many of them are solicited. Posted on 07/23/2021, it took three weeks to receive feedback on the major revisions, which were fairly constructive. It took two weeks to individually respond to the comments of both reviewers. The first reviewer had no significant issues, but the second reviewer raised a lot of questions, mainly due to a misunderstanding of several terms, which led them to believe that the data was inconsistent. It took another week to respond to each of the reviewer's comments. Then, after making minor revisions, the paper was accepted. The whole process took nearly three months. If it had been accepted in one go, it would have only taken a month.
