Very good journal. Since Professor Boming Yu of Huazhong University of Science and Technology served as the Asia-Pacific editor-in-chief, the review speed has become particularly fast and the IF has also risen gratifyingly, especially in recent years. Although the self-citation rate is slightly high, it is normal. After all, there are too few fractal journals. Manuscripts are easy to be accepted after referring to the journal articles that are especially about the applications of fractal in other fields.

2018.09.17 Submission; 2019.2.15 accepted. There was three reviewers plus the editor-in-chief. The article was revised once. It can be considered as a major revision without too many review comments. As long as the ideal is novel, it would be generally accepted in the end, personally thinking! The latest IF is 2.9.

Now the editor of the Asian region is an editor in India. The speed is very very slow, perhaps made the entire journal slow. Someone in the United States said that they had submitted a manuscript for more than a year and had not received anything. The number of manuscripts this year high. This journal publishes quarterly. The third issue of this year had not been publised. Only one online manuscript, which is authored by the Indian editor. I hope it will get better.

After submitting, I received a notice in a few days that required a payment of $100 for peer review and administrative purposes. The paper would only be assigned a number after the payment was made. A few days later, I received a rejection notice from the editor, stating that the research field was niche and had a low citation rate, and therefore, the paper would not be sent for review anymore!
