MDPI's mathematics journals are nothing more than predatory journals. They publish a large number of articles per year and organize numerous special issues (often receiving spam emails for related themed special issues). I have read several articles from a special issue of Axioms, and they are completely shoddily made (with numerous printing errors and some derivations completely incorrect), yet they still manage to get published! Compared to traditional mathematics journals (such as Springer and Project Euclid's mathematics journals), they simply manipulate the impact factor to appear impressive to non-experts!
