After 2 months the reviewers recommended that we resubmit our manuscript as a short report.

The resubmission has been undergoing peer review for 6 months now. It has been 10 months in total since we initially submitted this manuscript. 

Supposedly they would expedite the process. It's been 3 weeks and no update.

Terrible experience, would not recommend.

Review speed: 2.0 Experience sharing: It is stated on the official website that the preliminary results will be available in 40 days, but it actually takes about a month and a half to receive notification. The feedback is fairly reasonable, suggesting improvements in statistical methods and language. I had a foreigner polish it up and submitted it again, but it has been a month and I am still waiting for a decision. Can anyone with experience help me out?
