This is a traditional journal in the field. Our manuscript went through two rounds of revisions. Both rounds took one month to receive the reviews and then a few weeks or so to complete the revisions. The reviewers’ comments were harsh but pertinent… submitting to journals with reputations like this one aren’t easy.

Overall, the process was quite balanced and the feedback for revisions was detailed, correcting grammar and word errors. The reviewer seems to be an expert in metabolism, providing additional information on pharmacokinetics. The acceptance after revisions was prompt on the same day. As long as the quality of the article is ensured, it shouldn't be too difficult

After being rejected twice after submission, they are still welcome to submit again.
After the third submission, they were directly hired without being reviewed again.
It's quite mysterious.

I think as long as the quality of the article meets the standard and is useful for future researchers, it can be accepted. There are already 2 articles published in this journal, both with minor revisions
