I submitted 1–2 articles to this journal each year. My first second article about silver nanoparticles was published in 2015, and it got citation more than 400 times. This makes the editor like to have my lab's articles. Until now, I had published 6-8 articles, and never be rejected. It is a wonderful journal without publication charge. I love it.

One interesting aspect about this journal is that you can email the editor BEFORE submitting to see if they recommend submission. This is crazy helpful, especially if you’re unsure about the novelty of your research. Also, this journal is different from many other review journals: the author does not need to submit their CV to the editor. They also have a variety of different formats, all of which have different review periods. “Mini reviews” have the shortest review period; all other categories have fairly long review cycles.
