The review process after submission is very slow. First, the office reviewed the format, even though it was done according to the guide for authors, they said it did not meet the requirements. After making the corrections and resubmitting, it took a long time for the review to finally come. After eagerly awaiting the reviewer's comments, there were suggestions for revisions that seemed to be a mix of major and minor changes. I carefully responded and made the revisions, thinking it would be accepted soon, but then the editor requested another round of reviews, leading to another couple of months of waiting. One of the three reviewers suggested additional experiments, while the other two requested citations to their own papers. The editor ultimately rejected the submission. It's frustrating. The whole process took over four months. For a journal in the fourth quartile, unless it's a student project, I will definitely not submit again

Just submitted a paper recently, the content includes the IC50 of our drug on cancer cells, normal cells, the survival rate of acute toxicity in mice, LD50, and pathological sections of major organs.
