Experience sharing: Submitted on July 22, 2016, the external review was not completed until October. After revising according to the comments, I resubmitted in January 2018. After waiting for 3 months, it was rejected. One reviewer thought it was acceptable, but the other said, "I am not convinced about the scientific power of their work." No specific reason for rejection was given. After about 9 months of back and forth, it ended in tragedy. A colleague also published a paper in this journal, and also went through a similar process for almost 10 months. The characteristic of this journal is: slow... slow for the first review, and slow for the second review as well

Experience sharing: There are relatively few people submitting to this journal in the field, so I'll share my experience. I had previously submitted a paper to JGS, but tragically it was rejected after external review. I then resubmitted to this journal and found that the overall difficulty was not too high, and the editors were friendly. The first review took 4 months, and the second review took 1 month. The journal is relatively specialized, asks questions of great depth, and effectively contributes to the progress of the paper. Page charges start after 3 pages, at 300 Swiss Francs per page. In IASGO's magazine, I believe the importance of the reviewers is crucial in determining whether an article will be accepted, so luck is also a factor

Review speed: 1.0 experience sharing: Submitted on September 27, 2013, received reviewer comments on October 7, revised on November 30, accepted on December 7, online on January 30, 2014. The editorial team works efficiently and has a good attitude. When I encountered problems with the submission system and emailed the editor, they replied promptly. I got confused by the default citation format of the system when submitting the manuscript, and was warned that the submission would not be successful if it didn't match the format, so I strongly advise against using EndNote. The first three pages of the journal are free, and each additional page costs 325 Swiss francs. The publication fee is also acceptable. It's a good journal!

We only accept clinical articles and prefer to have photos, including surgical photos and imaging examination materials. Not many articles are published each year, but due to good editorial control, once accepted, the electronic version of the article can be seen within 3-4 months. The difficulty is not very high, and the editorial attitude is good
