This is a good SCI journal, although the impact factor is not high, may be because they are not the three major publishers, and the citations are not very high. Two of my articles were published here and the editor in chief is very responsible. But recently the editor-in-chief has been changed. In short, this journal is considered a good SCI journal, and the English requirements are relatively high. Long articles, theories and experiments must be thoroughly analyzed. Articles are generally not sent for review to the reviewers you recommended, and I personally think that reviewers generally are experts, such as those from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and the Universität Hamburg in Germany. I did not have a good experience with this journal. I waited for about three months before I received one review, and I waited another three months for the second. I understand that the quality of this journal is high, but it is not acceptable to have to wait three months per review.

2024.11 sent a reminder because one of the reviewers was delaying
2024.11 after the reminder, received feedback for Major Revision
2024.12 revised and after two days one reviewer agreed to review... the other took nearly two weeks to agree, yes, it was the same expert reviewer
Late January 2025 sent another reminder, because one reviewer kept agreeing but not reviewing, but the editor asked for patience
Mid-February 2025, calculating the time, it had been two full months since the delayed reviewer, feeling anxious, sent another reminder and explained the reasons to the journal.
Mid-February 2025, after sending the reminder, the next evening received feedback of Accept.
Mid-February 2025, two days later, the paper was published online (trial run), and the copy editing was notified.
The above is my submission experience and timeline, hoping it can provide some help to fellow researchers. PS: When sending reminders, it is important to be rational and polite, I also based my reminders on the reference points provided by the journal... caution, looking back, I realized I sent reminders 3 times (o.0).

The journal and editors are both good, and the impact factor is also quite good. The only downside is that one of the reviewers I encountered was very slow in providing their initial comments and took a while to review the revisions. However, in the end, the outcome was still positive!
