Rejected after submission, I sent an article in February, and it took a total of 20 days for the rejection message to arrive after I followed up. Immediately, I resubmitted to a journal for Q2, and it has been accepted so far. However, the editing process of this journal is relatively slow.

The article I submitted in January, then made some minor revisions, and received notice of acceptance at the end of April. I submitted it on June 14th, and it hasn't been reviewed yet. Now I'm really worried because it's been over a month and there's still no news. It's still under review and hasn't been rejected.

Zone 3 journals are considered quite good in the field of composite materials. The review process is quite fast, with results being provided in about one and a half months.

I am working on interface modification of fiber-reinforced composites, which is very suitable for the journal's theme. Below are the milestones of my submission timeline for your reference.

April 1, 2021: Submitted the manuscript. The system returned it, stating that there were formatting issues. After making the necessary corrections, I resubmitted it on April 3. 

April 9: Under review by the editor. Then, the long wait began.

May 21: The journal provided revision comments.

May 29: Made revisions and submitted them.

June 8: Under review by the editor again. The same day, it was accepted.

June 11: Signed the APA agreement.

June 14: Proofreading process.

June 17: Online publication. The handling was super fast!

The reviewers and editors raised many questions, including grammar errors and professional issues. It is evident that they treated the manuscript seriously, and I am truly grateful for their efforts!
