I submitted a manuscript to the Chinese version in 2015. Let’s talk about the English version. I submitted a manuscript and paid 500 yuan for review. I was rejected for not giving a parameter. In fact, there would be no problem if a sentence had been added. I searched literatures today and found an article like my research direction. I read it and found it was basically the translated version of my Chinese article. The article structure was the same, and the content of the review was basically the same. There was no update of the latest research status, there were more references, but the content was the same. He didn't even quote my article. The peer dared to write, and made the repeated content published. How dare you to publish the repeated content, where was your moral integrity. It's no surprise to be kicked out of the SCI.

The Chinese version of the Journal of Mechanical Engineering is the top name in the domestic mechanical engineering industry. The English version of this journal has a good midpoint relative to Chinese and the speed is much faster. I have submitted articles to both and with the English version, I was replied in to about three months, whereas it took basically half a year for Chinese journal to respond.
