Research direction: Self-formulated prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine compound. After being rejected by multiple journals, the self-formulated prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine compound were submitted to CJAC. In less than a month, it was accepted at a very fast pace. After submitting the manuscript, it was sent for external review within three days, and the review comments were returned within 2 weeks. The journal leans towards chemistry and suggests that researchers of traditional Chinese medicine compounds can consider adding molecular docking to increase the likelihood of acceptance of their articles.

The journal rejected the manuscript after reviewing it for a month and a half. There were a total of three reviewers, with the first two agreeing with the submission. However, the last reviewer rejected it citing lack of innovation, leading to the editor's decision to reject it.
