Chemical Physics accepted my article today. I am very happy. It took 4 months from submission to acceptance, including completing all the edits and revisions. The review speed is OK; the first round of reviews are usually returned in about one month. After I resubmitted, my paper was not sent out for a second review, which I’m sure expedited the overall process. The editor was generally helpful and supported me through the submission process.

I thought the review would be quick, but only one or two reviewers were added each month. It took three months in total, with a total of 8 reviewers being sought, and two reviewers finally met the minimum review requirements on 24.12.23.
After another half month, a reminder letter was sent on 25.01.14 for revisions, which were minor. 
Revised submission was made on 25.01.28.
Accepted on 25.02.03.
Although this article took a long time, it ultimately yielded a good result. I am finally not worried about graduation.
My peers submitted to the same journal in the same period, which took a total of two months. The specifics depend on the research direction.
