I couldn't agree with the upstairs more. It was in the hands of the editor for a month. Now it has been in the status of inviting reviewers for another two weeks. Neither rejection nor under review. Peer review has not yet started since I submitted the manuscript at the end of September.

I really don’t want to say anything about this junk journal. What does it mean being with editor for a month??? What does it mean that nobody replied to an email reminder??? This kind of irresponsible editor is really terrible at present. It doesn't matter if you reject without sending for review. Reviewer 1 didn't have too many questions. Reviewer 2 asked many questions every time. A total of three major revisions. The last time the editor-in-chief accepted it directly without sending it for review. However, it was accepted in Chemical Engineering and Processing Process Intensification. I don’t know if it is the same journal as this Chemical Engineering and Processing. I checked the number of articles and real-time IF on the WOS, but they are different. Are there anyone who knows?

If you prepare your paper according to the journal’s requirements, as well as address the reviewers comments diligently, your paper will likely be accepted. Also, if you think the reviewer's opinion is wrong, you can refute their suggestions by making your own arguments and providing examples; the editor-in-chief will carefully consider your response and make a fair decision.

Over a period of four months, with two major revisions, the editor was very nice and the processing speed was very fast; the reviewers were very serious, gave very pertinent comments, and also provided many detailed suggestions. Many things were revised, and personally I feel that the final quality of the paper has improved significantly.
