Publication in this journal takes a long time; however, the reviews are very constructive. If you’re not interested in this journal, other options are the Chemical Engineering Journal and Engineering Chemistry Research. I’ve submitted to those journals as well.

This is really too slow, too slow. I submitted it on April 5, 2022, and up until today, November 20, 2022, it has been in process for a whole seven months and more. My entire defense and graduation have been delayed because of this. I have sent reminders during this period, but there has been no response.
