Two months were given for major revision, but as there were a lot of things in the middle, it took three months to make the revisions and resubmit it. One month later, it got accepted. It is a slightly lower journal in the mainstream publications of nonlinear science. I feel that the journal is not rigorous enough. However, it belongs to Q2 and can be used as a paper to guarantee the graduation. I will not publish my best work on CSF.

A very good journal. During two months, I published an article on Fractals and Chaos respectively. In comparison, it is faster in Fractals. It took more than 20 days to be accepted. But this one is obviously difficult than fractals, and it deserves to be classified as a top journal.

Our group submitted our manuscript on May 4 this year, and it was with the editor through the end of August. Ugh. By early October, we received a notice from the editor that our manuscript had NOT been sent out for external review and that it had been rejected. The editor stated that the level of scientific merit didn’t meet the requirements of the journal. I can’t believe our manuscript was with the editor for 5 months.
