This magazine does not charge for page fees, attracting a lot of students to submit articles. It is really hard to find magazines that do not charge page fees nowadays. The overall review period feels quite fast, and the review comments are quite sharp, very close to what the author wants to see. In the aspect of tumor behavior, after the initial review, experimental additions are required, which need to be verified with two cell lines. The editor provided very kind and humble explanations, very nice. When using pharmacological inhibitors, it is also suggested to use two inhibitors unless there is only one for gene silencing and overexpression studies. The magazine Oncogene has a lot of articles from Chinese authors. Caution and optimism are needed when submitting to this magazine. If submitting from the same laboratory, submission at the end of November, receiving a major revision in less than three weeks, and being given two months for supplementary experiments. This journal has indeed been temporarily suspended by Springer due to peer review issues. The handling statement has not yet been released, and no articles from this journal have appeared on PubMed after March. It is uncertain what the final outcome will be, and hopefully it will not be kicked out of SCI. After all, this journal has made significant contributions to the Chinese people, and the articles published are predominantly by Chinese authors
