This journal is highly-regarded in this discipline. My manuscript went through the submission process for about 8 months – which is long – but it was probably because I had to complete some serious revisions as a result of the reviewers’ comments. However, the reviewers’ comments were extremely relevant, and significantly improved the quality of my article. Regardless, this may not be the best journal if you’re trying to publish quickly. Some folks I know withdrew their manuscript after receiving revisions from the reviewers. If you decide to move forward with completing the revisions, I think the acceptance rate is pretty high upon re-submission.
