The first time I submitted to this journal, I felt that the requirements for publication were quite strict. The reviews were completed within 1 month; there were three peer reviewers. Two reviewers recommended acceptance pending minor revisions, while the other reviewer suggested major revision. Overall, it was not a terrible experience but the editor was extremely slow to respond to any inquiries. After our manuscript was accepted, it was selected for a video abstract by the editorial department. Unfortunately, because there was no indication of this in advance, we could not complete the video abstract in the amount of time allotted by the journal. If you submit to this journal, be prepared for a video abstract request (apparently this is common).
